The European nation is one of the hardest hit by coronavirus, especially the one detected for the first time in the United Kingdom.

Covid-19 claimed the lives of 297 French people from Tuesday to Wednesday, so France´s death toll jumped to nearly 100,000.

Concerning the increased death toll, Government´s Spokesperson Gabriel Attal told the press that a national tribute will take place.

Regarding hospital situations, France´s Health Ministry reported that coronavirus situation in the country is slightly improving, both in the number of hospitalized and ICUs patients.
