The text circulates amid the serious crisis due to Israel’s drone attack on the Gaza Strip, where 24 people were killed, including nine, and 100 were injured, and the worsening of clashes in East Jerusalem among the local population and Israeli police and settlers.

An initial report from the Palestinian Ministry of Health estimated that 20 people were killed as a result of Israel’s airstrike, and that figure might increase given the critical condition of some of the injured.

The Israeli Government is responsible for the brutal aggression against our people in Jerusalem, its holy places and their houses, and against our people in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and in the Gaza Strip, emphasized the statement from the Palestinian Foreign Ministry, reproduced by WAFA news agency.

A few days ago, the United Nations warned Israel that the expulsion of civilians from their residences is a war crime, while the European Union called on Israel to stop the construction of settlements in the occupied territories.
