Cuba reports 2,055 Covid-19 cases and 13 deaths

Havana, Jun 23 (Prensa Latina) Cuban health authorities on Wednesday reported 2,055 people infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19, the highest figure recorded so far, and 13 deaths, due to complications related to the disease over the last 24 hours.

With these data, Cuba has accumulated 172,909 contagions and 1,193 death, since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in March 2020, Dr. Francisco Duran, national director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), said at his daily press briefing on television.
