According to Cadena Agramonte website, although the premise is to ensure compliance with the sanitary protocols that govern and proscribe the Public Health authorities, the units reopen to the public with a 50 percent reduction of its capacity to maintain social distancing.

In this town, authorities and locals have been intensely fighting against Covid-19, and they have been carrying out a wide sanitary intervention since the end of June. On Monday, a reduced number of gastronomic establishments return to their partial vitality.

Among the establishments opening, the La Estrella Specialty Cigar Store stands out; its potential is to turn into one of the Habano Houses in the country, a project that was put on hold due to the imminent outbreak of the pandemic.

A reduced number of bars and restaurants of the City Tourism Company will be opened from 08:00 to 11:30 local time, without neglecting measures to avoid contagion, such as hand hygiene and the use of chlorinated wet carpets, according to the publication on the Internet.

Camaguey remains as one of the risk territories for the country, with one of the highest incidence rates caused by Covid-19. However, the Provincial Defense Council maintains a number of restrictions in support of the work led by the Ministry of Public Health in Cuba’s largest province.
