Images of the members of the Venceremos social movement, the Committee for the lifting of the blockade against Cuba and representatives of communist parties, protested on Monday outside the Washington Embassy in Moscow against the US policy towards the Caribbean nation, were posted on Facebook.

The calls in defense of the Cuban Revolution and the complaints of the tightening of the United States unilateral measures towards the island were repeated on social media from Saint Petersburg, Bryansk, Magnitogorsk, Crimea, among the country’s other cities.

On Monday, Russian activists in solidarity with Cuba congratulated the Cuban Government and people for the celebration of the Day of National Rebelliousness and reiterated their condemnation to the US siege against the Caribbean nation.

The friends of Russia denounced the US psychological war against Cuba and the objective of undermining the unity of the nation and tarnishing the image of the socialist development process the Caribbean nation is building.
