The CNAS, considered the Democratic Party’s top foreign policy think tank, is funded by the State Department and the Pentagon, and has taken more money from weapons companies over the last several years than any other Washington’s think tank.
At least 16 CNAS alumni now hold in key positions in the Biden’s Pentagon and State Department.
Messages such as weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, lies about Iran’s attempt to create nuclear weapons and claims without evidence from intelligence agencies about Russian cyberattacks, were part of the obvious actions that violate the most basic journalistic ethics, the publication stressed.
