ISIS-K claimed responsibility for the blasts in the vicinity of the Kabul international airport, where about 200 individuals, including 13 US soldiers were killed.

In response, the Pentagon launched two attacks on the extremist group, killing 10 civilians on Sunday, including children under five.

President Biden vowed to continue to go after terrorism around the globe, saying Tuesday the United States will ‘go after terror where it is today, not where it was two decades ago.’
