Elizabeth Rodríguez, disseminator of the work of that house of studies stressed to Prensa Latina the relevance of a presentation under the title ‘Quality’

This is one of the most recent projects of the university and is strongly linked to the reactivation of tourism in the country, planned by the authorities as of November 15, under strict health protocols due to Covid-19.

A team formed by Cuban academics Beatriz Romaní, Julia María Espinosa, Lourdes Cisneros, Rodolfo García, Dianaisy Díaz and Griela Romero is in charge of the research.

They refer to the set of best practices endorsed by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), such as safety, hygiene, accessibility, communication, infrastructure, services, and amenities.

Apart from that, aspects related to ethics, transparency and respect for the human, natural and cultural environment are also included since they are topics of research related to Turism.
