Sri Lanka and Cuba exchange on hydraulic development

Colombo, Oct 1 (Prensa Latina) Representatives of Sri Lanka and Cuba exchanged on the hydraulic development of both countries and the possibilities of developing ties in this economic sphere, a diplomatic source reported on Friday.

Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka Andres Gonzalez paid a courtesy visit to Water Supply Minister and Member of Parliament Vasudea Nanayakkara.

During the meeting, both officials also discussed about the binational friendship relations, as well as issues of the Caribbean country, especially its struggle against the unjust and criminal blockade of the United States, the progress of the vaccination program against Covid-19 and the development of the Cuban vaccines.

Nanayakkara is the leader of the Democratic Left Front party, which forms the Government’s alliance.
