Number of Covid-19 cases in Cuba still descending

Havana, Oct 3 (Prensa Latina) Cuba is still experiencing a downward trend in Covid-19 cases, and even though the number of vaccinated grows it is vital to abide by the measures in place, said Francisco Durán, Director of the National Institute of Epidemiology.

‘We are not satisfied and continue working,’ said Durán, who qualified as ‘positive’ the fact that more patients were discharged that they were admitted.

He also emphasized that the incidence rate of the disease has decreased all over the country.

Duran reported during his morning press conference that 4,097 new Covid-19 cases were detected in the last few hours, less than on Saturday.
