Putin assessed Russia-US relations with CIA director

Moscow, Nov 8 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly had a phone talk with William Burns, director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), in which they analyzed the relations between the two countries.

According to Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the dialogue included the crisis in Russia-US diplomatic relations, regional conflicts and cyber security.

A high-ranking US delegation headed by Burns was in Moscow on November 2-3.

On the first day, he met with Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin.

Burns spoke with Naryshkin about the fight against international terrorism and inter-agency cooperation and, with Patrushev, on bilateral relations.
