Cuban handball players score in Spanish Honor Division

Madrid, nov 15 (Prensa Latina) With offensive highlights like Gleinys Reyes and Ángel Jesús Rivero, a group of Cuban handball players scored today in the 'Honor Division', highest category of clubs in Spain.

Reyes registers 39 goals in the “top 20” of Iberdrola Warriors League scorers with the Zonzamas Cicar Lanzarote team; meanwhile, Rivero appears as the third most important for Logroño La Rioja team thanks to 38 goals in current Asobal season.

In the important women’s tournament, Reyes added four goals in the last match to beat Lanzarote 17-26 against BMC Liberbank Gijon.

Meanwhile, Rivero created four goals to the victory of Logroño 33-28 over Recoletas Atlético Valladolid, getting the appreciation of Miguel Ángel Velasco’ s team.

Meanwhile, in men’s, Dariel García added a score to the victory of Bidosa Irun 34-28 against Fraikin BM. Granollers and totaled 22 in 11 competitions this season.

Currently, more than 10 Cubans play in Spanish handball, including tournaments of the Silver Division and the National League.
