Joe Biden confirmed his country – alongside his allied nations – will respond in the event of an eventual invasion in Ukraine. Regarding this subject, Russia has denied it.
The US president proposed to continue talks to avoid reaching an invasion, the press secretary Jen Psaki said.
For such a reason, Joe Biden suggested to hold the bilateral Strategic Stability Dialogue, the NATO-Russia Council, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe starting next year, the spokesperson said.
Substantial progress in these talks can only occur in a de-escalation buildup, President Biden said.
