As part of the program to corroborate the current social and economic dynamics of the province, the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party attended the first Camagüey Entrepreneurship Fair, which has the premise of sustainable development.
According to the note from the Cadena Agramonte Digital portal, “state-owned companies and new economic actors converge in this space, including 15 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs)”.
The exchange with the new actors in the Cuban economy allows the celebration of business rounds, activities similar to those held in the recently held 500+ Craft Fair, organized by the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets.
By the way, in Camagüey the Mipymes strategy, endorsed by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, is especially strong in food production.
Thanks to the extensive potential for the country’s development, 43 Mipymes appear on the list in this region, of which 34 percent will be dedicated to the preparation of meals, including those linked to the conservation of fruits, vegetables, legumes, condiments, in addition to of obtaining natural beverages and wines.
