Without this element we cannot make a safer planet, said WHO’s Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom, who also asked to include it to the response to the Covid-19.

In this way we can achieve two goals, he assured, while mentioning “helping us to put an end to the acute phase of coronavirus and protecting ourselves from future epidemics and pandemics.”

During his speech at the International Covid-19 Research and Innovation Forum, Mr. Adhanom said it is critical to focus “not only on current variants of concern.”

Also, he urged for understanding how coronavirus is evolving so that “science can help us with whatever may come,” he said.
