Brazil is facing up an economic plight, 62% nationals says

Brazil, Apr 25 (Prensa Latina) 62% of Brazilians strongly believes their country is currently facing up an economic crisis, showing difficulties to recover, according to the BTG Pactual investment bank and FSB Institute.

The study also indicated that 32% of interviewees think Brazil is trying to overcome such a situation and 5% perceive domestic economy is going well.

Plus, according to the survey, two out of five people understand that the far-right President Jair Bolsonaro administration is main responsible for the country´s economic plight.

The economic crisis is also due to the Covid-19 pandemic (25%), previous administrations (21%) and also to the complex international situation (8%).

60% say domestic inflation and the cost of living will surge in coming six months, meanwhile 43% forecasts that delays in paying bills will increase, and 36% says unemployment will worsen.
