Cuba reports 23 new Covid-19 cases and two seriously ill patients

Havana, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuba on Thursday reported 23 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths, and two seriously ill patients who are being treated at intensive care units due to complications from the disease.

According to the daily report from the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 104 active cases are in hospitals with a favorable clinical evolution.

MINSAP added that 28 patients were discharged, five more than those diagnosed, so the total recovered patients rose to 1,102,278, while 183 patients and 79 suspects remain hospitalized.

The total death toll remains at 8,530 lives since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cuba in March 2020. jg/mgt/day/alb
