In a fresh outbreak setting, assumed by Government sources as eighth fresh wave, the French health agency reported as many as 13,354 hospitalizations, 377 more than in Sunday´s report, while ICU patient toll jumped to 733.

On Thursday, the French health agency reported 12,908 hospitalizations and 707 ICU patients.

According to Public Health France, hospitalization rating stands at 14.5%, an indicator which deals with occupied hospital beds available for seriously-ill patients.

As for France´s Covid-19 incidence rate, it continued to increase, closing Monday at 341 infections per 100,000 inhabitants.

Local panorama is not too complex at the moment, but health authorities remain on alert.
