The permanent representative of Palestine to the UN, Riyad Mansour, sent three identical letters to the secretary-general of the organization, the president of the Security Council and the minister of the General Assembly to denounce the increase in attacks by Tel Aviv troops.
Mansour called on the UN to comply with international law and Security Council resolutions on the subject.
He noted that Israeli forces and settler militias “are relentlessly harassing, intimidating and provoking the Palestinian people in a ruthless manner.”
He condemned the new attack against the city of Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank, which caused the deaths of a young man and the doctor Abdullah Al-Ahmad Abu Al-Teen when he tried to help him.
Two paramedics and several Palestinian civilians were also wounded during the raid, he stressed.
