On Twitter, the Cuban foreign minister described the meeting as pleasant and posted “We expressed satisfaction for the good state of bilateral relations and willingness to continue strengthening the historical ties that unite both countries”, adding “We discussed openings to expand economic, trade and cooperation relations in sectors of mutual interest. I shared unforgettable memories regarding solidarity work done by the Cuban Medical Brigade in Pakistan after the 2005 earthquake”.
