On Sunday, thousands of radical protesters, former President Jair Bolsonaro´s followers, stormed and vandalized the headquarters of the National Congress, the Supreme Court and the Planalto Palace in Brazil´s capital.

In a statement, several regional groups described these incidents as serious and considered it was an attempted coup against a constitutional and democratic government.

Plus, they requested the condemnation by all CELAC member States.

Our America must respond to the willingness of the peoples and those who represent them and not to anti-democratic coup plotters who play for the interests of the U.S.
