Pushilin stated in an interview on a Russian television that intelligence data detected the movement of Ukrainian reserves to these three cities as a way of avoiding that the Ukrainian forces holding them, be overrun.

He also pointed out that the fighting is fierce, and one can speak of fighting for every meter of land, although he stated that the Russian troops and the militias maintain the initiative.

Previously, Pushilin himself reported that the Russian units are entrenched in the eastern part of Ugledar, while fierce combats continue in Artiomovsk, which is close to being surrounded.
