This week, the Russian House in New Delhi hosted the seminar “Russian Language and Literature in a Changing World: Values and Development Factors,” organized by the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature and the Indian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature supported by the Russkiy Mir (Russian World) Foundation.
Participants in the event discussed the authorities’ initiatives to create online courses, films based on Pushkin’s works, and other cultural issues, Russkiy Mir reported.
Fifty participants, professors from Indian universities and schools, and Russian colleagues attended the meeting, TV Brics stated.
Advisor to Russian President, Vladimir Tolstoy, headed the Russian delegation.
During the meeting, distinguished Indian scholars were awarded the medal “Fyodor Dostoevsky. 200 years.”
