Taliban call to respect Afghanistan’s internal affairs

Abdul-Ghani-Baradar
Kabul, Sep 4 (Prensa Latina) Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdul Ghani Baradar said on Monday that Afghanistan respects the internal affairs of other countries and expects the same from them.

The official made the statements at a meeting with Iranian Ambassador in Kabul Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the Deputy Spokesman for the Islamic Emirate (Taliban Government), Bilal Karimi, informed.

According to the source, the deputy prime minister said that Iran and other neighbors of Afghanistan should take major steps to strengthen relations with the Islamic Emirate and not give others the opportunity to damage those relations.

Afghanistan does not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries and does not allow others to interfere in its internal affairs either.

A united and centrist government has been created in the country after decades of wars, and we want good economic and political relations with nations, particularly with neighboring states, Baradar said.

Ambassador Kazemi Qomi, in turn, noted that Iran is interested in cooperating with Kabul in the economic, agricultural, industrial and railway transportation fields.

It has been more than two years since the Islamic Emirate came to power, but so far no country has recognized it.
