DPRK warns of dangerous military action by Japan

Pyongyang, Dec 8 (Prensa Latina) The state-run news agency ACNC warned today in an article about the escalation of Japan's military fever throughout the year, which threatens regional security.

The source said that Japan recently agreed with Germany to sign an agreement for the mutual supply of goods and workforce, which allows it to broaden the actual scope of this pact, as it has already done with nations such as the United States, Great Britain, Australia, France and Canada, among others.

What cannot be overlooked is that the agreement creates a space that facilitates Tokyo’s military advance overseas, freeing itself from the limit of ‘exclusive defense’; thus, Japan now carries out military exercises with different labels, introducing all the countries subscribing to the agreement into its archipelago and its outskirts, the note explains. In the past, this country undertook aggression overseas under the protection of the great powers; now it is also an enthusiastic supporter of the hegemonic policy of the United States and is sticking its nose into different military blocs in the region, under pretext of achieving a ‘free and open Indo-Pacific’, the text adds.

The ACNC warned that in such a context, Japan increases its armed forces in favorable points for aggression to the continent and even claims the possession of attack capacity to the enemy base, with the excuse of defending remote islets.

The facts show that the purpose of signing the agreement is to make it easier to realize the ambition of aggression by increasing the frequency of military deployment abroad.

Japan should act prudently in the light of the vehement indignation of the Asian peoples and international society, the text concludes.
