In his letter, Browne congratulated the Cuban government and the people and also praised Cuba´s significant contribution to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Browne highlighted all support provided in different sectors such as education, health, social welfare, training of human resources, as well as sports and disaster risk reduction.

Despite the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States for decades, Cuba remains a global leader in separate areas including education and health, and continues to promote its solidarity.
