On the second day of the Forum, Sommerfeld commented on the lack of opportunities for a large part of the Ecuadorian population, with only seven out of 10 people in formal employment and no job openings for youngsters, the migratory exodus and how the level of crime has escalated throughout society, and has weakened all institutions.”

“We are going to articulate actions in the multilateral and bilateral areas to face this scourge,” she underscored.
