This is no exception, stresses a communiqué on the occasion of the maneuvers of groups of agitators who tried to distort what was happening in a peaceful demonstration in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba.

The analysis of the solidarity group considers that Cuba continues to resist the genocidal blockade imposed by the Yankee empire for more than 60 years, and is going through difficult times due to the fact that the imposed measures intend to continue isolating Cuba from the rest of the world, especially from the commercial interaction to guarantee the procurement of basic products and services.

However, the will and dignity of Cuba and the Cubans is unwavering, they will continue to defend the deepest values of the Cuban Revolution and will permanently count on the world solidarity that is standing by every decision that strengthens the progress of this people.

We demand the cessation of the genocidal blockade of the United States in detriment of Cuba, the letter stresses.
