North Korean and Chinese high-level officials meet

Pyongyang, Mar 24 (Prensa Latina) Kim Song-nam, director of the International Department at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), met on Sunday with Cai Qi, a member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

Kim, who is visiting China leading a WPK delegation, was received by Cai at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where the two officials had a friendly talk.

The head of the Korean delegation courteously conveyed cordial greetings from WPK General Secretary Kim Jong-un, and Cai Qi expressed deep appreciation for the respect and instructed him to convey the testimony of his high esteem to the supreme leader of the WPK.

Kim Song-nam stressed the need to exchange good experiences and strengthen strategic and tactical cooperation in party building, state administration, and other fields.

Korea-China relations and the socialist construction of the two countries are entering a new stage of development under the personal guidance of the leaders of the two parties, Kim stressed.
