President Kim Jong Un expresses condolences to Russian counterpart

Pyongyang, Mar 24 (Prensa Latina) The president of State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong Un, sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin, it was reported on Sunday.

On behalf of the Government and people of the DPRK and on his own behalf, Kim expressed deep regret and consolation to the recipient and, through him, to the Government and people of Russia, the families of the victims and those affected, after he learned how death toll in a large-scale terrorist attack in Moscow province.

Reaffirming the DPRK Government’s unwavering position of rejection of all forms of terrorism, Kim noted that the heinous terrorist act that threatens human lives cannot be justified. Our people consider as their own the misfortune and sadness suffered by the friendly Russian people and express their firm support for and solidarity in their just cause to consolidate the socio-political unity centered on the recipient and stability and defend the security and sovereign rights of the country, Kim noted.

He wholeheartedly hoped that the Government and the strong people of Russia would eliminate the consequences of the terrorist attack as soon as possible and restore stability to the families of the victims and the injured, the message concludes.
