Cuban ambassador meets with Sri Lankan pharmaceutical managers

Colombo, Apr 19 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andres Marcelo González, and managers of Yaden Laboratories reportedly discussed views in this capital on the existing relations between the Sri Lankan pharmaceutical manufacturer and Cuban institutions.

The Cuban diplomat met on Thursday with Shashimal Dissanayake, Executive Manager of Yaden Laboratories, and Dr. Tharindu D. Durage, International Market Manager, at the Cuban diplomatic mission in Colombo.

The source explained that Yaden Laboratories is a subsidiary of the Yaden Group of Companies, a private pharmaceutical manufacturer engaged in the industrial production and distribution of medicines in Sri Lanka.

Founded in 2012 as Yaden International, the company addresses medical supply needs and the improvement of the health of Sri Lankan patients by importing and marketing innovative and superior pharmaceuticals, according to its website.

The group stated that some combination of experience, vision, and core values has made Yaden an essential stakeholder in Sri Lanka’s pharmaceutical industry as an innovation-driven manufacturer with modern industrial manufacturing facilities.
