Access to Haiti’s National Palace limited for security reasons

Port-au-Prince, Apr 22 (Prensa Latina) The Haitian Presidential Security Coordination limited the access to the National Palace, the target on two occasions of attacks by a coalition of gangs that today controls 80 percent of the capital.

Only employees working in the general secretariat, administration, accounting and custodians, as well as special guests, are allowed to enter the building.

Inspector General Vladimir Paraison summoned all executives and agents of the Presidential Security Unit and the Anti-Ambush Team.

Hence, the Haitian National Police (HNP) are also speeding up its work to ensure the security of the National Palace, which will host the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) in charge of the political reorganization of the country.
