MAG´s assistance will benefit about half a million small producers.

“In the municipality of Sonsonate Este, which includes the districts of Armenia, Cuisnahuat, Caluco, Izalco, San Julián and Santa Isabel Ishuatán, there are more than 8,800 people who will withdraw the card in an environment of order and security,” the government said in a publication on social networks quoted by Diario El Salvador.

According to MAG, the voucher replaces the delivery of agricultural packages with a $75 card redeemable at any of the authorized agroservices.

The card will be delivered to producers at 178 points established nationwide, so that they can purchase granulated fertilizers, foliar fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides and other inputs to produce corn, beans and veggies.
