The meeting was attended by the inspector general of the Nicaraguan Army, Major Gen. Marvin Corrales; and the Nicaraguan military, naval and air defense attaché in Russia, Fredy Cerrato.

In addition, the presidential advisor and special representative for Russian affairs Laureano Ortega and the Nicaraguan Ambassador to Moscow, Alba Torres, also took part in the meeting.

The Nicaraguan delegation thanked Russia for its ongoing cooperation with Nicaragua and reiterated its support and solidarity in its struggle for peace and stability in the world.
