In front of high-ranking politicians, CEOs and executives from some of the largest and most influential companies on the planet, the UN chief pondered the benefits of artificial intelligence for learning, disease diagnosis, as well as for agricultural productions.

But he noted that, if left unchecked, its development and application could disrupt economies, undermine trust in institutions and deepen inequalities.

The Secretary General urged the world community to face these existential challenges and work together.
