The XX International Jazz Colloquium “Leonardo Acosta in Memoriam” begins this Saturday at FAC’s Nave 3 with the presentation of Dayramir Gonzalez’s album V.I.D.A. and several productions by the Egrem label. Afterward, participants will approach the work of pianist and composer Frank Fernandez, who will be honored for his 80th birthday.
The director of the National Choir of Cuba, Digna Guerra, and the director of the renowned Original Orchestra of Manzanillo Wilfredo (Pachi) Naranjo, and other artists, will prestige the meeting, which will also honor musician and tres player Pancho Amat on his 75th birthday.
