For the second day in a row, Palestinean parties, politicians, trade unions, analysts, and NGOs denounced Trump’s proposal, which was announced during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The plan is in line with the Israeli project of ethnic cleansing against our people, Faisal Aranki, head of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Expatriate Affairs Department, warned.
Such an idea violates human rights and will only lead to further escalation and fueling of the conflict, he underscored.
In a joint statement, the Palestinean trade unions and federations also condemned Trump’s initiative and called for world intervention to prevent its implementation.
The statement recalled the Palestinian people’s struggle against the Israeli occupation for more than seven decades.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas strongly rejected on Wednesday Trump’s expulsion plans.
