According to the National News Agency, since morning drones flew at low altitude over Beirut and the southern suburb, as well as the Hermel region and surrounding villages in the north of the country.

An Israeli drone crossed the national space over the areas of Safad al-Battikh, Baraachit, Chaqra and Tebnine, belonging to the southern district of Bint Jbeil, Al-Akhbar daily reported.

Meanwhile, Tel Aviv forces carried out a large-scale sweeping operation with machine guns on Al-Hamamis hill in the south of the country.

On Tuesday, a citizen was killed by an Israeli drone strike on his vehicle on the outskirts of the southern town of Deir al-Zahrani.

Despite the entry into force of the ceasefire on November 27, Israel continues to target Lebanese civilians and its warplanes and drones are bombing towns in the south and the Bekaa region.

The Israeli army occupies five strategic hills on Levantine soil, amid the refusal of the Beirut authorities and in violation of the final deadline for its withdrawal from the south of the country on February 18.
