According to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the event’s theme will be “Embracing the Digital and Intelligent Era for Shared Development.”
CCPIT Spokesperson Zhao Ping said the summit will feature an opening session, a plenary meeting, and three parallel forums.
He announced that the main event will address how digital technology can contribute to building more secure, stable, and open global supply chains.
Meanwhile, the parallel forums will explore issues such as “Digital momentum to foster an open and fair innovative ecosystem” and “Trade and investment cooperation in the digital era.”
Zhao also informed that the summit will issue the “Beijing 2025 Declaration,” a document that will urge the global business community to explore new ways and areas of collaboration to promote stronger, greener, and healthier global development.
