The artistic ceremony will be the final point of the inaugural day of the most significant professional event developed annually by the Cuban tourism industry.

To honor this special invitation, the dance ensemble announced that it will perform De tierra y aire (Of earth and air), a choreography by the master and director Lizt Alfonso, together with Yanet Rodriguez and Liliet Rivera.

The piece interweaves passion, sensuality and fusion of dance and music in an energetic expression of national identity.

De tierra y aire (Of earth and air) is one of the pieces belonging to the show Fuerza y Compas, which opened doors for this company in the five continents.

According to a press release from the institution, one of the choreographic movements of the work was immortalized by the director Lizt Alfonso herself, in the logo that identifies the company worldwide.

With this symbolic presentation, Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba intends to close on a high note a month in which it has been highlighting the Spanish roots of Cuban culture, a significant part of the ‘fusion’ style it cultivates and distinguishes.
