This was informed by the top party leader when receiving the general secretary of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party (Frelimo), Chakil Aboobacar, who is on a working visit to attend the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The participation of Frelimo, together with friendly parties from Africa as well as many regions of the world, is a great joy, support and encouragement to the Party, State and Vietnam’s people in these significant days, To Lam emphasized.

He also considered that the visit of Aboobacar and the delegation accompanying him will be even more significant as it coincides with the moment when the two countries are preparing to celebrate 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations (June 25, 1975).

Both leaders agreed on the importance of maintaining and promoting ties between the two ruling parties to guide bilateral relations on the basis of political trust, and expand cooperation in areas where both sides have needs and strengths.
