His statements come amid growing speculation that the Bhumjaithai Party, a key member of the coalition, is pushing for a major overhaul of ministerial portfolios.
Responding to reports of an impending cabinet reshuffle Thursday, Shinawatra insisted that no formal discussions have taken place and that she is still assessing the situation.
“It is not yet time to discuss the details as it is just a consideration for now, I am just thinking what adjustments could be made to improve the cabinet,” she stated.
The head of government pointed out that she is not yet receiving signals from the coalition partners in this regard, but affirmed that she will approach the parties to gather their opinions once the reshuffle is ready to be implemented.
He also stressed that while the performance and suitability of ministers are constantly under review, the current moment does not yet warrant a detailed discussion on the reshuffle.
