Zakharova confirmed the meeting during a press briefing and added that Kluge, who is in Russia on a working visit, will be received by Lavrov on Monday, June 16.
The spokeswoman added that the parties plan to discuss current aspects of Russia’s cooperation with the WHO and its regional office, and the prospects for the development of this cooperation in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The diplomat stated that special attention is expected to be paid to the WHO reform in the context of current challenges facing global health.
