Amman faces the current military escalation in the region with a firm commitment to protect its sovereignty, the spokesman told reporters.

He clarified that King Abdullah II repeatedly affirmed since the beginning of the crisis that Jordan will not allow any party to use its airspace or territory for conflict or hostile acts.

According to His Majesty’s directives, our country cannot, under any circumstances, be the scene of hostilities between the parties, the spokesman said.

He pointed out that the Hashemite Kingdom is a sovereign state and will never tolerate any violation of its sovereignty and will take appropriate measures, in line with international state practices, to respond to any aggression or infringement.

According to the official, Jordan’s objective is clear and consists in achieving national security, the stability of the Kingdom and the integrity of life and property of citizens.
