Russia is not a threat to Europe; the real danger for it comes from the loss of competitiveness in the global economy and trade, the Hungarian prime minister affirmed during a brief conversation with journalists before the start of the plenary session of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit.
When journalists asked Orban to clarify whether he considers Russia a threat to Europe, the prime minister referred that Russia is strong enough to pose a real threat to the region.
We are very far from that, the Hungarian leader maintained.
The Atlantic Alliance summit comes to an end in that Dutch city, where, among other topics, the member countries’ budgets for financing the organization will be discussed.
