Belarus to strengthen ties with Venezuela

Minsk, Jul 5 (Prensa Latina) Belarus and Venezuela will strengthen their relations through the implementation of joint projects, the president of the European country, Aleksandr Lukashenko said today, while congratulating his of the South American counterpart, Nicolas Maduro, on Independence Day.

According to Lukashenko, Belarus highly values the strong relations of priority cooperation and mutual assistance between the two countries. “I am convinced that we will continue to do our utmost to strengthen these ties through the successful implementation of joint projects,” he emphasized. The president also noted that the Venezuelan people, fraternal to the Belarusians, know well the value of freedom and have confidently advanced towards the high ideals of justice, peace and equality for several decades, despite numerous challenges and obstacles from hostile countries.
