“We have to give credit to President Petro for his courage, clarity and firmness, because he spoke for free peoples,” said the political leader last night in his weekly Wednesday program Con el Mazo Dando.
Cabello also referred to those who go to the UN “to worship the pill to the gringos, for God’s sake,” and condemned that American imperialism uses this platform to declare war on those who do not align themselves with them, “when one sees that we can say that the world is going wrong,” he emphasized.
In one of the letters he usually reads on his program, sent by the VIP Patriot from the northern nation, he pointed out that “what happened yesterday (at the UN) is evidence of the monumental failure of the United States foreign policy”.
The letter noted that, with a speech that seemed improvised between tweets and tabloid headlines, Trump used the UN platform to “promote himself as supreme peacemaker and the world savior, resolving conflicts that the UN itself did not even know existed”.
He also presented himself as the architect of an “golden age” of the United States that, curiously, only shines in his speeches and in his grandiloquente fantasies, he noted.
The sender censured that, in his speech, the current occupant of the White House far exceeded the time allotted to world leaders, and “no one dared to stop him: neither the famous red light nor the diplomatic protocols seemed to apply before his spectacle”.
He also said that after almost nine months in power, the reality is lapidary: “Marco Rubio has watered down the government of Donald Trump, because they have not stopped the bloody war in Ukraine; they are accomplices of the genocide in Gaza and now threaten our country under the argument of false positives”.
The letter noted that it was Petro who really rocked the Assembly: “opened criminal proceedings against Trump for ordering attacks in the Caribbean that killed innocent young people, dismantling the excuse of “fighting drug trafficking” and pointing out that, in reality, it was a geopolitical domination scheme.
He also clearly denounced that “US foreign policy in Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean is advised by allies of the cocaine mafia”.
