The institution stated on its social media that the meeting contributed to strengthening bilateral relations between the two Caribbean countries and shared images of the dialogue between the delegations.
Alvarez was accompanied by the Vice Minister of Multilateral Foreign Policy, Rubén Silié; the Dominican Ambassador to the UN, Wellington Bencosme; and the Director of Strategic Studies and Analysis, Anselmo Muñiz.
Bruno Rodriguez also highlighted on his social media account that in the conversation with his Dominican counterpart, he reaffirmed Cuba’s willingness to continue consolidating bilateral relations and expanding economic and commercial ties.
In parallel, both countries held the 14th Round of Migration Talks virtually, which concluded this Thursday.
Both parties reaffirmed their willingness to continue strengthening cooperation mechanisms on migration and consular matters.
