According to local media reports, some 16 Israeli military vehicles stormed the town, raided several homes, and deployed in the streets.
Syria TV also reported that one person was killed after an airstrike carried out by aircraft, allegedly from the US-led international coalition, on a home in the town of Al-Tamanah, in the northern Syrian province of Idlib.
It was also reported that two children were killed after a mine exploded on the outskirts of the city of Al-Harak, in the east of the southern Syrian province of Deraa, according to local television.
The device exploded while the children were herding sheep. One of the children died instantly, while the second, seriously injured, died shortly afterward due to the severity of his injuries.
According to the official Syrian news agency SANA, two people were injured while trying to dismantle an explosive device placed inside a vehicle in the town of Artouz, southwest of the capital.
All this points at the persistent instability in the Middle East nation, even after a change of government.
