Russia describes NATO secretary general as a war propagandist

Moscow, Oct 18 (Prensa Latina) Mark Rutte, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), has become a war propagandist with his statements against Russia, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Saturday.

Rutte is making strong and harsh statements about Russia because he has been tasked with acting as a war propagandist, the spokeswoman explained in an interview with Tsargrad TV this Saturday.

Zakharova stated that Rutte’s task is “to be a Russia-centric war propagandist.” She also emphasized that essential decisions within NATO are not made by Rutte himself, but by his assistants, which include representatives from the United States and the United Kingdom.

The NATO chief previously mentioned a Soviet joke about the Lada when discussing the purchase of F-35 fighter jets and Patriot missile systems.

Shortly after, he insulted Russian pilots and sailors.

Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Rutte had no knowledge of the Russian army, and this was precisely the reason for his comments.
